Faith Hi there, I am Teacher Faith and I will be your best buddy in learning English. I took up media communications and I am also a TEFL Certificate holder. During my free time I like to travel with my family, I'm also into photography and I like eating while watching Korean movies/dramas. I started learning English at home when I was a kid by watching English movies and it's a great help to learn English. Franz Hi there! My name is teacher Franz. A graduate of Bachelor of Science in Nursing.Aside from teaching, I also love watching movies, playing sports, singing, listening to music, cooking, and driving around beautiful scenery. I would say that I am easy to get along with, a fun person and a friend to my student. I have been teaching English to students whose main Language is not English since 2010. GLADS Hello there! This is teacher Glads speaking. I am a licensed professional teacher here in the Philippines and TEFL certified as well. I have been teaching since 2015. During the pandemic, I decided to pursue my master's degree majoring in English Language. With that, I was able to build my career and skills in Teaching English to non-native speakers. Grace Hi, I'm Teacher Grace. I've been an ESL teacher since 2020, and I spent that period with Chinese and Korean students of all ages. Throughout my years of experience, I primarily worked with seniors. As a teacher, I always encourage my students to build up their confidence which can help them sound more effective as a speaker.  I always assure them that our classroom is a safe space for their mistakes so they can express their thoughts without any hesitation. For a few years I spent in teaching, I was able to share fun and engaging lessons with my students and I'm confident that I acquired significant knowledge that will help me deal with diverse learners. Ivy Greetings! I am Teacher Ivy. I took up Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management at Laguna State Polytechnic University - San Pablo City Campus. During my spare time, I love reading books, listening to music, go on adventures and discover new places and restaurants. I have been teaching English since 2023. This didn't hinder me from sharing my knowledge and skills in teaching English as a Second Language to non-native speakers. Teaching English as a profession gave me a sense of fulfilment in making my students improve their communication skills. I was also once a teacher for Summer Pre-Kindergarten Program of a church and taught tutorial lessons for Elementary up to Senior High School students. I have also started in my masters program in Business Administration. I have been in Sales and Marketing since 2010. I was promoted to management since 2014. When I am not working on my fulltime job, I also host professionally. I started hosting professionally since 2005. I even hosted a local TV show for two years in my 20's. Learning a new language may be difficult to a lot of people, but just like any other skill, it takes hardwork, patience, and a lot of practice to become great. jayvee Hi everyone! My name is Jayvee. I’m from the Philippines and currently residing in Manila. I’m 31 years old, married and a mother to 2 adorable boys who happens to be twins. Yes they’re twins. I guess twinning runs in the family. Anyway, in my days off I usually stay home and spend some quality time with my boys. They love drawing, watching Disney films, eating pancakes and dancing. I try to be a hands-on mom as much as possible because kids these days grow up so quickly. For all we know, they’re grown ups already. I also enjoy traveling. It relaxes me and gives me comfort. I get to learn and experience different things; usually things that I haven’t thought of doing or trying. And I guess most Koreans can relate because you guys are well traveled. I’m also into cooking. I’m kind of adventurous when it comes to trying different cuisines. I can cook American, Japanese, Korean and Thai dishes. But my favorite is Italian food. My kids and I enjoy pasta, pizza and gelato. Regarding my experience in teaching ESL, I’ve been doing this for eight years already. At first, I thought I wouldn’t be that engaged to the job as much as I am now because my major was totally different. I studied Information Technology which was far from teaching English, especially to foreign students. But as they say, once you’re passionate about something, you will excel on it. And I believe passion is what made me last in this kind of work. Not only that, I get to have this sense of fulfillment whenever I see my students grow and learn through my teaching. Studying English shouldn’t scare non-English speakers because I tell you this is not scary at all. You just have to put your heart in it. Focus and have fun while studying English. You can still learn and enjoy at the same time without worrying about your knowledge. And that’s what I want to impart to my students. Learning is fun. That’s why it’s called, Happy English! ^^
