WHAT OTHER POLICIES COULD BUSINESSES IMPLEMENT TO HELP PEOPLE STRUGGLING WITH THE COST OF LIVING?
- I suggest implementing a program that businesses redistribute slightly damaged and returned or unsellable household goods including baby care products to disadvantaged family for free. This program is mutually beneficial to the company as it reduces waste of product disposal and to the family, especially with babies, struggling to afford basic necessities because of the rising cost of living. Besides these benefits, it can help reduce carbon oxide emissions by not sending the damaged product all the way back to their factory in order to fix or replace the package.
