Where do you wish to live when you are old?

Though most young people tend to move to the capital to get a job and enjoy the convenience of city life, some consider returning to the countryside after retirement. Deciding where to live in old age is an important decision that impacts extra lives' happiness.

Living in a rural area, surrounded by nature like fields, forests, and the sea, can offer a peaceful life. Furthermore, people can enjoy a slow life, getting out of vigorous competition. It reduces stress and makes time to enjoy life. I expect that I will appreciate this slow life when I grow older.

On the other side, city life also has many appealing attraction points. One of the best merits the city's gotten is a well-developed infrastructure. For instance, the big hospital nearby becomes more crucial as people age. In addition, cultural life offers cultural opportunities such as going out for dinner and going to the theatre. These activities can help the elderly feel more socially connected and less isolated.

In my view, rural life seems to offer more long-term benefits than city life. My standard for a good life is based on relaxation rather than speed. I wish I had spent my later time, watching time flow gently.
