I invest a high position of my cash in stocks. I expected the price of stocks would go down steadily because FR(Federal Reserve) was supposed to announce their monetary policy on December 16th and most of the investors suggested that they would raise the basic interest rates. Due to the my suggestion, I bought inverse ETF(Exchange Traded Funds) ; it will go up when the average price of stocks goes down. But today December 16th the stocks skyrocketed by almost 2%, so I lost a lot of money on paper because I didn’t sell them and I’m still holding these stocks. I think to invest in stocks is not easy and even to anticipate a trend of stocks is not human’s thing. My thought was very simply. When FR raises the interest rates, foreign investors will retreat their money from the Korean stock market. And Korean Bank also has to raise the interest rates following FR. Considering expected Korean enterprises fourth quarter earnings, there is no reason for stocks to go up these days. Anyway I’m looking forward to world stocks’ going down continuously. Now I regretted not to sell my stocks when I could make a huge profit from stocks.
