First, our country has long history, Korea was a colony of Japan before and we were struggling to get over this challenge. Finally we did it and managed to built our own goverment with the help of U.S.
We had no natural resources or lots of money (Actually, bad in economic condition).
That is why our Korean people think that our country is excellent given our history.? We realized from experience that education is the best important factor to thrive the country.= for our country to thrive. So, we have been investing educating = on education and now all other countries consider  Korean students super studying machine or so. = as a study machine or so.
Sometimes, the intense competition can make people selfish and in a way, it can cause increase of the rate of suicide. = suicide rates.
