I read an article about the Obama administration’s new executive actions on restriction of guns. As a foreigner, I can’t understand why so many Americans are against strengthen gun’s controls even though there have been a lot of incidents related with guns and accidents resulting in lots of lives loss and heartbreaking sorrow. The new actions are to level up controls for gun sellers to report missing guns and trace potential buyer’s backgrounds. They are alternative to a law. That’s because there is no possibility for the Congress to pass that kind of law. So it could make a lot controversial legal battle in court. Obama made sure that it can’t completely solve all gun violence and all mass shooting crime, but it can lower the loss of causality alleviate suffering. I know thousands of students didn’t go to school because of gun’s threat in school last year. As a one of those who want to stay in USA for our children to get good education in USA, these days I have to think of safety of staying in USA twice. Isn’t it shocking that parents buy their children some machine gun for birthday gifts in America?
