She had left to Taiwan for her winter vacation. A bit sad, but we were not able to arrange our vacation for same date.

On Saturday, one of my junior during my military doctor came to my home town, Pusan. He is so naïve, tender and intelligent.

We hung around my city for that afternoon and evening, ate delicious fried clams and talked a lot about numerous topics. = We hung around my city from afternoon till evening, ate delicious fried clams and talked a lot about numerous topics.

He left for Seoul for another schedule, and inviting me to Seoul afterward. = He left to Seoul for another schedule and would like to invite me to Seoul afterward.

I accompanied my parents to pizza parlor for lunch, cuisines at there turned out to be disastrous. Voracious as usual, I ate them all and later joined my parents to blame them. We were much timid to blame them face to face. Nevertheless, we swore never paying our visit here again. After lunch, we walked along the riverside for more than an hour.
