  I usually eat my dinner around 7 PM, after I leave my work place. Since my work finishes around 6 PM, I have not many options for dinner time. For me, it's impossible to keep not eating after 6 p.m. In medical point a view, contrary to conventional wisdom, there's no specific relationship between weight gain and late eating. What is the most important is reducing calorie and more exercise, no matter what time you are eating. You may be amazed there are simply no scientific evidences for late time eating myth. It's because we are tend to eat more in case we eat late hour, since it's not regular time meal. There is a single bad point in eating late hour. If you get to bed less than one hour after meal, your gastric acid produced after meal tend to reflux toward your esophagus. That's the main reason why late eaters having burning sensation. In short, eat less itself is way more important than avoid late eating in reducing weight. However, if you keep eating late, one day you would have to visit clinic because of burning sensation
