Our current system succeeded in many fields. First, they expeled starvation more than 2/3 of the world. It's really impressive, since just a half century ago millions of people starved to death. Though still many people suffer from hunger, but surely this is a remarkable progress. Second, thanks to machines, electrocity and petroleum, we can live much convinient life. Because of electricity, we can do more productive things during night time. Airplanes, trains and what's more, spaceships, we can travel anywhere in our planet or even in far beyond the space. However, because of immense development, our mother earth has been polluted in unprecedented pace. So many wildlife are in jepardy. Large portion of glacier in the south and north pole are melting down. Quite disappointingly, lots of developed contries don't want to participate in reducing current fossil energy consumption. Will there be any possible solution for our doomed future? Basically, we can't go back to what we used to be. We can't go back to paleolithic age, and learn to survive without using byproducts of our civilization. The only possible way we can think is using our efforts on preserving our mother nature. Electronic cars show how we can go around without polluting air. Solar power show we can generate energy without depending on fossil fuel. All we need to do is concentrating on improving efficiency.
