One of the fried chicken restaurant in Korea illegally used its brand and logo from the Louis Vuitton, the French fashion house. So the court ordered the ban of not using it. But the owner didn’t comply with it and tinkered it’s bland and logo. Finally the owner ended up with the fine which worth 14.5 million won. I think unauthorized using or copying the others to launch their own brand would take advantage. So it would be efficient to infiltrate the market at first. (actually there is a fast follower strategy in business) But it would be ended with a bad ending in the end. So that’ why there is the copyright law. |
