Most people in our country tend to believe in spiritual things, such as ghost. We specifically give our gratitude for our passed ancestors annually and believe otherwise our ancestors would be sad and will punish us.=We specifically give our gratitude to our passed away ancestors annually and believe them.Otherwise, our ancestors would be sad and punish us.  And what's more, there are still so many totems and myths throughout in this country. Though people hardly pay any attention for these myths, our people are unconciously effected by them.=Though people hardly pay any attention for these myths, our people are unconsciously affected by them.
I think our strong belief in ancestors and spiritual rituals based on our confucious ideaology.=I think our strong belief in ancestors and spiritual rituals are based on our Confucius ideology.  The first thing we learn when we were kid was manner that we should obey our parent, teacher and seniors.=The first thing we learned when we were kid was manner that we should obey our parent, teacher and seniors. And seniors should obey their seniors. We also learn that we should act as ourself, not even dream of intimidate or offence other people.=We also learn that we should act as ourselves, not even dream of intimidating or offending other people. Since we revere our seniors, we learn to revere our utmost seniors, the passed ones.
And other strange belief, like totems and myths, I think these kinda stories are everywhere in the world. Don't think our people are strange or ridiculous.
