In my case, loss of = losing someone I love is the most terrible thing I can imagine.
When I was second grade in the middle school = middle school, a horrible accident happened to my father. At that time, even if he was conscious, he was in the shadow of the valley of the pain. = of pain. In the hospital, I could not keep seeing him, and I'm sure anyone who had experience that kind of accident might be = go insane.

Anyway, this is the scariest experience I have, and I know someday there will be a moment when I have to lose someone I love. I don't hope to  = can't imagine those kind of incidents, since I am happy enough right now. But there it is, = it is an important attitude I should have. Time flies like an arrow, and there's no use crying over my past. How shall I = I shall treat people around me including parents, girlfriend, and friends will be a key against my fate to lose. = of losing the people I love.
